We are delighted to launch the 2025 call out for event organisers!
Before registering or logging into your profile, please read the supporting documents for your region. These include information that will ensure a strong application and the success of your August Craft Month event.

The deadline for entry is Sunday 8th June. You can still apply after this date for inclusion in the calendar of events but the more time we have to promote your event, the better!

Who can have an event included?
We welcome event applications from, for example:
- Individual craft makers
- Guilds, Associations, Networks and Societies (GANS)
- Galleries, retailers, libraries, and museums
- Councils, arts centres, and cultural venues
- Further and Higher Education
- Craft institutions and educators
- Heritage organisations and more!
What type of events can you hold?
From hands-on experiences to inspiring talks, we welcome a variety of craft events.
Your event might be: a workshop or open studio; a craft trail, exhibition, or talk; a meet-the-maker session or demonstration; a craft market, fair, or festival. Events can be in-person or online, and suitable for adults, children, families, or all ages.
HOW THE APPLICATION PROCESS WORKS
- Simply register to create an account with your contact name, email and a password.
- If you registered a profile in 2024 there is no need to do this again, you will be able to log in with the email and password you provided.
- Add your postal address to receive the August Craft Month event pack
- Add your social links
- Confirm that you meet our eligibility criteria
- Tell us any interesting stories about you, your organisation and/or your event
Once your have registered and set up your profile, you can apply with one or more events easily!
Each event will be reviewed by the team before publication to your private profile. Once approved for inclusion in August Craft Month you will then be able to make edits to your events.
Add event(s)
- Add an event name/title, something to interest the public!
- Add a compelling description of your event.
- Upload a featured image to highlight your event (Please do not include a logo here)
- Create your image gallery, please include a logo if appropriate
- Tell us your event type, craft type, and who its suitable for.
- Add accessibility info, booking details and any memberships you hold.
Please submit your events before Sunday 8th June.
