August Craft Month is brought to you as a partnership between the Design & Crafts Council and Craft NI. We are now in the fifth year of promoting, growing and sharing audiences for craft makers.
From Donegal to Dublin and Tyrone to Tipperary, creativity is coming to every corner of the island. With 450 events, and over 2,500 makers involved, this year’s programme is one of our busiest yet!

August Craft Month is back!
Launching in June, Design & Crafts Council Ireland and Craft NI will collaborate to promote August Craft Month and your events through PR and regular news releases throughout the summer, social media coverage from all organisations, a digital advertising campaign, and maker and event profiles featuring regular spotlights on disciplines, regions, or key dates.
