Additional information
“Liadain is a 3rd generation knitter learning her skills from her Granny, mother and sister. She is a board member of Fibreshed Ireland and is on their Education and Advocacy Team. Liadain has a keen interest in using yarn grown in Ireland and has been working with Moyhill Farm since 2021 to turn the the fleece from their herd of Jacob x Zwartbles Sheep into yarn and creating new garments with it. The concept of soil to soil circularity is important to Liadain so the garment she creates can return to the soil as easily as they were taken. Liadain aims to create knitwear that has a light footprint on our earth.”
