About the event
Learn the ancient art form of mosaics. Create your own masterpiece under the guidance of Caithriona Devine.
Come with a design in mind and she will help you plan it and sketch it and give you on advice on colours to use. Caithriona will do a demo on how to cut the glass tiles, glue and grout. Each participant will get lots of individual attention because there is limited spaces. All tools and materials are supplied, included is an artisan lunch, dessert and nibbles.

“My full-time employment was an accounts manager for over 20yrs. I turned an used office to an art studio in work and spent my lunchtime creating. I was always painting and creating and have exhibited as part of a group and solo numerous times. In the past 5 yrs I’ve been a full-time artist, a complete career change. I love it. I love creating and am at my happiest when doing so. I completed a mosaic course 15 years ago and fell in love with the ancient art form, I use glass tiles, I find them neater and easy to cut with a porcelain hand cutter. I adore the finish of a mosaic and it’s shininess. Creating is my passion.”
