A morning of creating striking Prussian blueprints on fine art paper using one of the earliest photographic printmaking processes.
Cyanotype is a photographic printing process that uses a combination of two safe chemicals that, when mixed together and exposed to sunlight, produce a cyan-coloured print…the original ‘blueprint’.
Participants will learn about the cyanotype process from start to finish with Jane cummins, Studio ID-11 and be given the opportunity to produce up to four final art pieces to take home.
