Wool Spinning Demonstration
Join us at Lighthouse Yarns for a live spinning demonstration during Whitehead’s Summer Festival 2026. Whitehead based fibre artist Sophie Rood will be spending the day spinning wool and chatting all things fibre and craft!
Fancy having a hands-on experience with the demonstration? Come and blend your own mix of fibres, and then watch as it’s spun into a one-of-a-kind, custom yarn that you can take home with you.
The festival runs for two weeks (programme to be finalised soon) and our spinning demonstrations will be happening on various days across the beginning of August. Keep an eye on the Lighthouse Yarns social media, and sew.fae on Instagram for updates.
