Half day taster session.
Tamzen, your tutor has years of teaching and demonstrating skills and will guide you through these 4 basic techniques so that you can master your craft or try felt making for the very first time. You will have lots of opportunities to chat, tease out the craft, understand the differences in fibre.
Learn the basics, how to lay fibre, make flat felt.
What is a resist – the beginnings of 3D felting – making a little pod.
Pom-poms and bobbles: get successful at making a felted bobble so that you will be able to make your own pom pom garland.
A felted rope: this can then be utilised in your own projects- jewellery making or doll making.
