About the event
The principal Creative Peninsula exhibition theme for 2023 in ‘Inspired by…..’ and will feature featuring exclusive works by the finest Artists and Makers from the Ards and North Down Borough.
This exhibition will feature unique pieces of art and craftwork in a variety of mediums, specially selected for display in Ards Arts Centre and created in our Borough. This exhibition is a celebration of the exclusivity and quality of the artwork produced by local artists and makers and a fantastic opportunity to purchase a beautiful piece of art.
Artworks are for sale, and many artists accept commission work too.

The launch takes place on Thursday 27th July from 6pm-8.30pm
The exhibition runs from Friday 28th July to Thursday 14th August.

Tuesday – Friday: 10am – 4pm
Saturday – 10am – 1pm

Creative Peninsula, now in its 22nd year, is a thriving annual festival of creativity taking place in the picturesque borough of Ards and North Down.
The region is well known for its many Artists and Makers and during Creative Peninsula visitors have the opportunity to view their work, purchase or commission a unique piece or art or try their hand in a workshop.
This event is a part of August Craft Month with Craft NI, Northern Ireland’s celebration of craft. Summer 2023 will mark the 17th annual August Craft Month with makers all across Northern Ireland getting involved.
