This summer Kilcoe Studios has sought out some local craft makers to show a range of crafts as well as their own selection of greeting cards and calendars.

The new collection of work from Dúlra & Dúchas will also feature. This is a collection of craft made in Kilcoe Studios entirely from local materials, including  Straw craft, Rush baskets and St Brigid’s crosses. There will also be a showcase of work made on West Cork islands with the Creative Places scheme. This will include a project on stitching island plants textiles works by island residents and we will feature the Cape Clear geansaí project as well as other creative projects done on the islands.

This West Cork Craft & Design Guild event is part-funded by Design & Crafts Council Ireland for August Craft Month 2024.
