Family Day of Craft and Creativity at Wexford Harbour 15th August 2026

Our beautiful location on the Slaney estuary is a very special place to experience a day of outdoor creativity and fun for families. Celebrating everything we love about our local coastline and historic harbour. Get inspired by the iconic Wexford trawlers, sandy beaches, rolling waves and our favourite coastal visitors – seals, puffins, whales and other sea creatures. Our Makers will be on hand to offer a variety of craft activities, such as: textiles, wax rubbing, resist technique, collage, construction, mixed media.

A premium craft and design family day at The Makers House celebrating Wexford’s coastal heritage designed to bring parents and children together to explore authentic craft disciplines. Using a combination of techniques and various materials and surface textures to create memorable pieces inspired by the locality and marine life like seals, puffins, and whales.
