Summer Botanical Masterclass

Step into the slow rhythms of traditional Irish making with Natures Alchemy. Hosted in the historic, sweeping landscapes of Tourin Gardens, Cappoquin, this immersive afternoon masterclass celebrates the historic craft of the traditional soap and remedy maker. Led by community herbalist and maker Lynn Shead, participants will discover how to mindfully identify and sustainably harvest native mid-summer botanicals.

Following our foraging walk, we will gather for a hands-on workshop in the art of small-batch formulation. You will learn how raw, hand-foraged plants are infused into base oils to create luxurious, skin-comforting solid treatments. Under expert guidance, you will craft and customize your own botanical remedy bar or herbal salve using hyper-local beeswax to take home.

The experience concludes with a beautifully curated, seasonal light lunch shared around a communal table. Perfect for beginners, this workshop bridges the gap between ancestral plant lore and the beautiful, tactile craft of natural skincare making.
