Join Sharon Regan for a fully immersive masterclass experience. Surrounded by horses and dogs participants will be guided through the techniques needed to create a standing horse or dog sculpture from clay.
These masterclasses will take place over 3 sessions with the opportunity to take your work home and further work on it at home between session 1 and 2. You will be shown how to create a supporting structure for your sculpture and how to create energy and movement. The class will look at anatomy and have an opportunity to observe of the horses and bring those observations to your sculpture.
3 sessions will need to be attended to create your sculpture:

Uneven ground and some steps may make access difficult for those with walking difficulties.
These sessions are more suitable for participants who have previous experience of working with clay. Participants should be over 16 years.
Session 1 Monday 21st August 10am-1pm, modelling the sections and support structure.
Session 2 Monday 28th August 10am-1pm, assembling the sections, refining details, adding texture.
Session 3 Monday 4th September, decorating the bisque fired sculpture with underglaze and glaze.
Total cost for 3 sessions including clay, firings and underglaze £90.
