Quilting Workshops at Millennium Court
About the event
Millennium Court are delighted to have two quilting workshops being taught by ‘The Quilters Guild of Ireland’ in association with the ‘Home’ quilt exhibition.
In this workshop you can make your own 4 patch or 9 patch wall – hanging/ table runner. Each set consists of a house, tree and path range from basic (perfect for a total beginner) to more advanced. There is a basic set, two more challenging designs, all by Mary Palmer. The finished blocks are 10″ or 10 1/2″ unfinished.
A set of all the patterns (26 pages) and rotary sets for cutting will be provided, some machines will be available or you can bring your own. You are also required to bring a basic sewing kit (scissors, pins, thread etc). Please bring about 1/2m of background fabric and 5 fat quarters. Some fabric will be available at the centre.
Tea and coffee will be available at this class.
Since this class is all day, participants should bring their own lunch with them or they can get something at the nearby shops.
