Protecting our Heritage – Borris Lacemakers 10th Anniversary Celebration
Come and join Borris Lacemakers on Borris Village Green on Friday 21st August for a celebration of their 10th of learning, reviving and promoting the craft of Borris Lace. This August Craft Month event will run from 10am to 2pm and will coincide with Market Day in Borris and National Heritage Week. To mark the occasion we will be unveiling a specially designed Borris Lace seat kindly sponsored by Keenan’s Alltech, Borris.
View beautiful samples of Borris Lace, meet the Lacemakers and learn about this unique heritage craft, try your hand at some stitching. All this, combined with fun activites for the children will make it a great family day out.
There is a contingency plan in case of bad weather, to hold the event in Borris Town Hall.

Accessibility Information
There is wheelchair access to the Green but the event will be on a grassy surface. Public car park at the bottom of the town, past Church and just before Brophey's shop. On-street parking.
