About Crafts of Ireland
Crafts of Ireland is a heritage craft studio set on a family farm and located on the scenic Cavan and Meath border, close to the Loughcrew Hills. In their field they have a small flock of native, rare breed Roscommon Sheep, the oldest recognise sheep breed in Ireland and in their garden they grow a small patch of Flax to produce linen thread, a craft that was practiced in this area over 200 yrs ago. Visitors can experience home baking and a selection of traditional craft workshops.
