Join the North Down Craft Collective for their 2026 Summer Festival, a vibrant two-day celebration of creativity taking place on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th August 2026 at WWT Castle Espie, Comber, County Down.
Running from 10am to 4pm each day, the festival will showcase the work of more than 30 talented artists and makers from the collective. Visitors will have the opportunity to browse and purchase unique handmade work, as well as take part in a range of hands-on craft workshops, which can be booked in advance through our website.
The festival will also feature a special photographic exhibition celebrating the Safe Hands project, which took place in February. Safe Hands forms part of the collective’s ongoing funded programme of creative events delivered through the Ending Violence Against Women and Girls initiative. Alongside the exhibition, visitors can view a selection of work created by students from Bangor Academy who participated in the project workshops.
Delivered in partnership with North Down & Ards Women’s Aid, the Safe Hands project uses creativity as a way to encourage conversation and build connections. Visitors will also have the opportunity to meet representatives from North Down & Ards Women’s Aid at their stand over the two days and learn more about the vital support and services they provide within our community.
