Mini Festival of Calligraphy
Join along for a one day Mini Festival of Calligraphy.
This is a free event suitable for both beginners and those with some experience. All materials will be supplied.
The festival format is a workshop where an experienced tutor will introduce participants to one of the main calligraphic scripts, followed by practical work by the participants. Pilot Parallel Pens will be supplied for use on the day.
There will be demonstrations of different calligraphic techniques with slide examples and opportunities to ask questions.
The workshop will take place on Saturday, August 24th, from 10am to 4pm, in the Arts & Business Campus, 40 Drumcondra Road Lower, Dublin 9.
Booking is necessary as numbers are limited. There will be a break for lunch. There are cafes nearby or you may wish to bring your own snack.
