“My journey with textiles began in 2006, where I learnt to crochet from a local Peruvian lady, whilst volunteering in a shanty town in Lima. I then studied textiles in Galway CCAM, specialising in weaving. I then headed to Clare Island, Mayo for nine months to learn and develop my skill of weaving under Master Weaver Beth Moran. I now have my own studio/ shop on the Main Street of Ennistymon Co Clare, where I weave commissions, pieces for retail, and give workshops in spinning and weaving.”
