Meet the Makers ‘In the Making’
The Blackwater Valley Makers will celebrate Cork Craft Month with their main event “In The Making” taking place on Saturday, 8th of August. A unique opportunity to meet the makers and enjoy demonstrations from makers of diverse disciplines. Pop in for a chat and a bit of insight as to how these talented makers produce their skilled works.
Demos on the day:
Ashgrove Woodcrafts: Watch as Arthur demonstrates the use of traditional woodworking hand tools, expertly bringing shape to raw wood.
Jenna Pan Dolls: With doll and puppet artist Camille Pagniez, try your hand at different types of puppets and learn about the puppet-making process, from materials to techniques, and everything you need to know to bring a character to life.
Meet the Makers: Many of our other makers will also be available on the day for chats and answering questions.
