Come along to a festival of craft, design and creativity in the Swift Cultural Centre Trim Co. Meath.
Meath Made Creative Collective will have their second August Craft month festival over two days on the 16th and 17th.They will occupy the entire building with demonstrations, workshops, a craft fair, an exhibition, live music, and a meet the maker talk.
This year’s craft fair will include 22 stall holders as well as demonstrations, workshops and a meet the maker talk with Meath Made member Vaida from UPA Kids Wear.
Twelve workshops are planned in weaving, sashiko, ceramics, painting, drawing, guilding, pebble art, feltmaking, creativity with wood and lampshade making. There will be demonstrations in woodworking, sign painting, throwing on the wheel, Clones lace making and portraiture. Twenty three members will sell their work making the craft fair much bigger than last year.

Live Music – Ballivor Community Choir

Ballivor Community Gospel Choir is a new choir that was formed in November 2024 by Niamh and Fran Lennon.
The choir is made up of a group of 20 adults from Ballivor and surrounding areas who enjoy music and love to sing together, chat and have a bit of fun! They perform a variety of uplifting songs including Wonderful World and This Little Light of Mine with great energy and joy!

Take a break and listen to the soothing sounds of harpist Jennifer Leahy in our foyer in-between checking out the craft fair or participating workshop.
