‘Make Your Own Piece’ Pottery

Make Your Own Piece (fun 2hr pottery class) / Fri Evenings for July & Aug / 6.30-8.30pm

Make your own hand-built piece to take home in this fun, 2-hour pottery class. 

Discover the joy and serenity of creating in clay. 

Hosted at our family run workshop overlooking the sea, this fun, stand alone class will be led by artist and second generation potter, Sarah Lincoln. Over the course of two hours, you’ll be guided through hand-building techniques before you are shown how to create and glaze your own hand-built pot.

You can make whatever you like – it might be a bowl, a cup or even a unique hand-built vessel – the choice is yours. You will also be able to use a selection of glazes to paint your piece. After you finish we will fire your creation in our kiln. Your piece can then be collected from the shop and will be food and dishwasher safe and ready to use. If you prefer, we can post it to you at home (for an additional pack and post fee).

So whether you are a complete beginner or a pottery whizz this class will suit you.

Notes –

All materials are provided.

One finished piece per person will be completed. This is included in the cost of the class.

Once your piece of pottery is fired it will be food and dishwasher safe and ready for you to use at home.

Class size is limited to 8.

No previous experience is required.

We can accommodate children aged 10 years and older. Children under 16 need to be accompanied by an adult.
