MADE SLOW
The “Made Slow” exhibition showcasing The Donegal Designer Makers will be on display at The Donegal Designer Makers Gallery and Shop in Ardara until the 31st August.
The exhibition presents pieces that tell stories of time invested and materials respected— pottery, textiles, jewellery, Soapworks and inspiring framed artworks. Each piece represents a quiet moment against our fast world.
What strikes you most isn’t just the craftsmanship, but the sense of presence these objects carry. In a time when much feels disposable, these pieces feel permanent, made to last both physically and emotionally.
In Donegal’s landscape of stone walls built to endure centuries, this slower approach to making simply makes sense.
