Join our meet the Maker Morning at Painted Earth
Join us on Friday, 21st of August at 10am for a Meet the Maker Morning with Trevor Woods (Mount Ida Pottery) and Gail Kelly (Gail Kelly Printmaker | Algan Arts) will join us for a morning chat and demonstration. They will share their passions, inspirations and give a unique insight into their processes. Get a glimpse behind the scenes of our local makers.
We will be chatting about ceramics and lino printing on paper and textiles. Both Trevor and Gail will be on hand in out upstairs gallery to answer any questions about their craft.

For 22 years, Painted Earth is a little ray of sunshine right in the heart of Newcastle, County Down, Northern Ireland. With the Mourne Mountains rolling in and the sea tickling our toes, there’s no better place in the world.

Painted Earth is wheelchair accessible. However the demonstrations will take place in our upstairs gallery which can only be accessed by a staircase. We apologise for any inconvenience. There is on street parking in front of the shop or in some nearby carparks.
