Guitar making demonstration with Kurtis Scott
Craft NI are delighted to welcome Kurtis Scott, luthier and owner of Pict Guitars to Craft NI Gallery during Fleadh week. Meet Kurtis and learn about his processes while he works on instruments in progress, and see how his guitars achieve their unique beautiful tone and stunning visual appearance.
“As a passionate musician I knew what I longed for in a guitar, not an instrument that would be kept in its case, but something beautiful that calls to be played. As someone with a strong connection to nature and the world around us, I knew for certain that I must combine this idea with sustainability, which has led me to explore some incredible tonewood”.
Kurtis will be in Craft NI Gallery on Monday 3rd, Tuesday 4th and Wednesday 5th August between 11am and 4pm each day. No booking necessary.
