“From Cushendall to Islandmagee” A Craft Trail through County Antrim

Noel McCullough Furniture Maker, Open Workshop

Noel is holding an ‘Open Workshop Day’ at his studio in Ballymena, on Saturday 1st August, as part of a craft trail, ‘From Cushendall to Islandmagee’ organised by County Antrim Open Studios (CAOS). The trail takes the visitor to studios and workshops in eight different locations across the county to view sculpture, ceramics, jewellery, furniture, handmade books, textile art and original artwork and prints.

Living and working in the Northern Irish countryside, Noel McCullough designs and makes specially commissioned items. From a small box for something precious, to a table for entertaining family and friends, there’s something for everyone.

As well as making one-off commissions, Noel also makes a range of smaller items which can be personalised. Made with the same techniques and skill, these make ideal gifts for weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, Christmas and more.

Smaller gift items will be available to purchase on the day such as chopping/serving boards and keepsake/jewellery boxes.

Open 10.00am–6.00pm on 1 August 2026
