Audrey is holding an ‘Open Studio Day’ at her studio on Islandmagee,on Saturday 1st August, as part of a craft trail, ‘From Cushendall to Islandmagee’ organised byCounty Antrim Open Studios (CAOS). The trail takes the visitor to studios and workshops ineight different locations across the county to view sculpture, ceramics, jewellery, furniture, handmade books, textile art and original artwork and prints.

Audrey is a contemporary watercolour artist who paints rural landscapes and countryscenes. Living on a farm situated on the top of the Gobbins cliffs, Audrey gets much of herinspiration from the beauty of nature and the changing of the seasons. She loves nature andwildlife and is at her happiest when surrounded with the natural world. As Islandmagee isa peninsula, the sea plays a big part in her life and skies are forever changing around thestudio: no two days are the same. She loves to pick quirky scenes and transfer them to apage. Favourite images include the Irish hare and lighthouses. A favourite colour to paintwith is indigo and she paints in a loose style using bold colours.
