From Root to Bowl experience
Join Frayne Woodcraft for this unique immersive experience, enjoy a mythology talk on local trees, with a chance to delve into the Ogham alphabet and tree calender also find your connection with the surrounds followed by a woodturning demonstration.
Enjoy a cuppa and a chat about the wonderful Boyne Valley and a chance to see some of the unique hand turned products and an opportunity to purchase some of these one off creations.
Private Group; maximum of 20 people, special price for August Craft Month €40 per person
- A guided walk around an area with some of the native trees and some information on the mythology and beliefs behind the trees and their spirit connections.
- A woodturning demonstration in our workshop with any questions answered in relation to this wonderful craft.
- A look at the Ogham alphabet and its connection to each tree and to find your spirit tree on the Ogham calender.
- A cuppa and a chat and a chance to answer any other questions you may have
- An opportunity to peruse and buy some of the unique handturned products made here in Kildalkey.
- Includes a small memento of your time spend with Frayne Woodcraft
Experience is running on Saturday the 22nd August, for two slots, a morning slot from 10am to 1pm and afternoon slot 2pm to 5pm.
