Fantastic Felted Bookmarks
Experienced felt maker and Feltmakers North member Deborah Woolsey, assisted by fellow member Deirdre Gallagher, will introduce participants to the art of wet felting. This is a fun, hands-on textile craft that uses wool fibres, water and friction to create beautiful felted fabrics. Participants will then learn the basic techniques of wet felting and create two unique felted bookmarks, one to keep and another that could be given as a gift.
All materials provided. Please bring a hand towel and plastic bag for taking your piece home.
Suitable for beginners and those with some experience.
