About the event
The Elmfield Market brings together a thriving collection of over 40 high quality local food producers and artisans, wellness and sustainable living products and designer craft experts. This year Elmfield Market will celebrate August Craft Month with a curated gathering of design and craft in its beautiful Old Stable Room complementing the wholefoods and wellbeing market that takes place every month in the renovated Courtyards of Elmfield Estate in Gilford, Co Down.
Taking part in the Elmfield Market August Craft Month’s showcase are designers with their handcrafted designs including pottery by Thomas Powell Pottery, sustainable jewellery by BBlane Design, leather and handwoven bags from Simply E Designs. Some of our craftspeople will be demonstrating a key skill alongside their stall and encourage questions about their craft, inspiration and ethos.

To find: Enter “Elmfield Estate” on Google maps to bring you to the correct estate entrance at 23 Moyallan Road
There will be parking stewards to manage flow of cars in and out of the estate. There will be a £5 charge for the carpark. Please have cash ready to pay at gate or buy online through the link above. Please note we have introduced season passes for our regular visitors. These can be purchased online or at the gate for £13. Coaches & taxis proceed to drop off point.
Some parking is in a field so strong waterproof footwear is advisable.
Market area and access points are solid surfaces.
Help us reduce plastic use and bring a shopping bag to carry your purchases.
Dog friendly. We just ask that they are on leads and well behaved. Please pick up after your dog and use the bins provided.
Most vendors will provide contactless payment, (but not all)
This event is a part of August Craft Month with Craft NI, Northern Ireland’s celebration of craft. Summer 2023 will mark the 17th annual August Craft Month with makers all across Northern Ireland getting involved.
