Founded in 1981, today, the Irish Patchwork Society (IPS) consists of seven branches around the country with over 580 members. Our diverse group of members share a common interest in fabric, traditional, contemporary, modern patchwork and quilting.
The works exhibited in August Craft month show of the Eastern Branch in Swords Castle, Dublin will reflect a wide range of interpretations of themes, colours, techniques, fibres and fabric.
We will be displaying quilted items, large and small quilts made using different techniques, both traditional and modern.
Daily demonstrations of patchwork and quilting by Eastern Branch members.
