Digital Print on Textiles and a Tote Bag
About the event
Join FLAX-LAB for this textile printing workshop, hosted at the Flax Art Studios’ digital fabrication lab in Belfast city centre.
Starting with abstract shapes and colour combinations, you’ll design an image and learn the process of heat transferring vinyl to print. Then, working with digital images, you will be guided as you practise layering images and techniques, creating designs to test on a range of textiles. You’ll finish the session with your own unique printed tote bag.
Materials, including tote bags, included. Spaces are limited to ensure participants have the chance to play with ideas, test materials and discuss their own project ideas.
