Cross Collaboration – A Gathering of Glassmakers

What if… you gave yourself two days to experiment, connect and discover what is possible?

The Glass Society of Ireland invites up to 12 glassmakers to gather at The Glass Farm for a two-day creative experiment — a chance to step away from your own studio, meet fellow makers and see what happens when curious minds and hot glass come together.

Day 1 — we talk, dream and brainstorm. What if ……we combined these materials? What if ……we tried these processes together? What if …..we drew on these concepts? The afternoon gets hands-on with practical sessions to test those ideas in real time.

Day 2 — we make. Experiment freely, test processes, push boundaries and see where the work takes you.

The event will be documented throughout and outcomes shared with the wider craft community. But beyond the work itself this is about connection — breaking the isolation of the studio, sparking new ideas and building friendships that last beyond the two days.

Set in the wild and beautiful landscape of North Leitrim, The Glass Farm is the perfect place to ignite your practice.
