Combining silver metal clay with dichroic glass

Incorporating a stunning glass cabochon into a piece of pure silver is one of the most satisfying metal clay projects you can make.In this class you will be guided to make a 3 dimensional pendant incorporating unique textures, moulded components and you will select a stunning glass cabochon from my stock.

It is a full day class – 7 hours to complete your piece to be kiln ready. These items need to fired overnight so they are cooled gradually in stages – annealing. After firing you have the choice of either returning to finish and polish your piece. If that is not possible I will do the finishing and post your jewellery to you.

This workshop is available daily between 1 August to 31 August. Appointments made by request. No experience required.

Materials and use of tools included

Cost: Cost £120 per person plus £5 for tracked posting for those who are having their jewellery finished and posted to them.

This workshop is suitable for those who have ideally worked with metal clay before but it is possible for a beginner and in this event I will teach one to one or a group of two.

Necklace chains are not included but I have a small stock available to purchase on the day. You may also bring something from home if you prefer.
