“Our mission is to be the leading resource organisation for ceramics activity in Ireland.
Since 1977 the society has set out to be open and inclusive. The membership is comprised of artists, crafts people, collectors and friends of the society who are primarily based throughout Ireland.
A voluntary non-profit organization, we rely on our membership fees and grants to enable us to provide yearly activities.
Currently, Ceramics Ireland hosts workshops and two members exhibitions per annum. Other opportunities for our members include the Scarva/Ceramic Ireland Travel Bursary and numerous awards. These awards offered annually at our adjudicated exhibition include the Peter Brennan Pioneering Award, Mill Cove Gallery Award, Zozimus Gallery Award. We also sponsor the Ceramics Ireland award at the RDS Craft Competition annually.”
