Ceramics Summer School for Teenagers, delivered through Irish immersion
Five day Pottery Summer School for teenagers age 11-16, led by experienced teacher – an opportunity for young people to use their Irish in a social/creative setting, post-Gaeltacht or simply ahead of the new academic year.
The programme will provide young people with the opportunity to develop practical ceramics skills in a creative, supportive and engaging environment. Throughout the week, participants will explore wheel throwing, handbuilding ceramic sculpture, and glazing.
The course has been developed to offer local teenagers an additional opportunity to build creative confidence, connect with others, and develop hands-on clay and ceramics skills in a supportive environment.
Fee includes materials, equipment and a personal, finished take-home piece.
