Join Ceramic Artists Bernadette Tuite for this have-a-go tile making workshop inspired by Glenbower Woods for Cork Craft Month 2023.
Experimenting with various species of wood, leaves, flowers and found materials participants can mark make and add forest shapes to their Tile, creating their own Glenbower inspired mini-composition to take home.
Through mark-making, texture, pressing and using stamps participants can learn about the woods and acquire a new skill in a colourful and fun have-a-go clay craft experience.

“Greywood Art Centre are passionate about creating a warm and welcoming space where artists and the East Cork community can come together to explore creative process, grow and connect – offering meaningful experiences that foster empathy and a place to discover a sense of belonging.
Set in a historic Georgian house in the centre of Killeagh Village, nestled at the foot of Glenbower Wood, they aim to position creativity at the heart of East Cork. They do this by organising community art projects, programming cultural events and offering educational workshops, providing studio space for local professional artists, and by hosting artists from all over the world at The Residency @ Greywood Arts.
This year, Greywood Art Centre in collaboration with Cork Craft Month will play host to a wide range of events!”
