From These Hands is a curated Art and Craft fair that showcases some of Irelands finest creative small businesses.
Following its successful debut in Dublin in 2025, From These Hands is delighted to bring its Art and Craft Fair back to Dalkey Town Hall on Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd August. The event coincides with the ever popular annual Lobster Festival.
The carefully curated fair will feature twenty five of Ireland’s finest artists and craftspeople, showcasing exceptional handmade work across a wide range of disciplines. Entry to the fair is free, and the event is open to the public from 10am to 5pm each day.
Visitors will have the opportunity to meet the makers behind the work, hear the stories that inspire their creations, and discover unique, handcrafted pieces for themselves or as gifts. Every purchase directly supports talented Irish artists, makers, and small creative businesses.
From These Hands organiser Loretta O’Sullivan, a goldsmith based in Ratoath, launched her jewellery business in December 2024. Since then, she has exhibited at numerous craft fairs while building her brand. However, she became increasingly disappointed by the number of mass-produced, imported goods being sold at events that were promoted as craft fairs.
Determined to create a platform that truly celebrates authentic Irish craftsmanship, Loretta established From These Hands—a fair dedicated to supporting artists and craftspeople living and creating in Ireland. The name reflects the handmade nature of every product on display.
With an outstanding selection of handmade art, jewellery, ceramics, textiles, woodwork, homewares and more, this promises to be a highlight of the summer calendar and an event not to be missed.
