Create your own ‘pâte de verre’ glass bowl
An introduction to Pâte de Verre, French meaning paste of glass. A technique that came to a fame in the art deco period and used by the renown Lalique. This is a great first taste of this fascinating process of working with glass paste to create a 3D form. We will cover the basics of mould making, preparing the glass, packing the moulds and firing your work. A great overview of the process condensed into a one day.
The workshop will run from 9:30am to 5pm Lunch and all materials are included.
