About Kathleen:
Kathleen Standen makes ceramic sculptures and vessels that allow her to explore colour and texture. The ever changing patterns of weather in South West Ireland, together with rock strata, moving and still water, and wild-flowers are just some of the influences on her work. Kathleen’s collection includes small sculptures and vessels in addition to large pieces for display in gardens. She has exhibited in Ireland, USA, Germany, China, Belgium and the UK. She divides her time between London and Ireland and works from her studio in the coastal town of Leap in West Cork.
