Open Studio Sale
Stuart Cairns opens his County Down workshop showcasing the breadth of his artistic practice from unique sculptural silversmithing objects, contemporary jewellery range and ongoing painting series to his illustration work under Upwards and Over. He will be showcasing his utensil and vessel objects where he combines found objects, natural materials and precious metals into new and intriguing forms. As well as seeing his workspace, there will be small batch sculptural jewellery available as earring sets and pendant as well as the original paintings and drawings on paper in acrylics produced alongside his objects based practice.
Upwards and Over illustration series will be on sale with original illustrations, handmade jewellery range of pendants, cuffs, bracelets and charms and new sculptural wire animals, the drawings sprung to life into energetic wire forms. A big range of prints and cards will be available to browse through along with small badges and quite possibly the occasional free sticker..
The workshop is open 2pm to 6pm, its located at 69 Craigdarragh Road, down the right hand side of the driveway, at the garages but there will be signs! Parking is limited so perhaps carshare if you are planning a visit.

The workshop is unfortunately not accessible by wheelchair, however the covered external space is accessible and jewellery, paintings, prints and cards will be set out there.
