South Midlands Branch Irish Patchwork Society Exhibition
Founded in 1981, today, the Irish Patchwork Society (IPS) consists of seven branches around the country with over 580 members. Our diverse group of members share a common interest in fabric, traditional, contemporary, modern patchwork and quilting.
The works exhibited in August Craft month show of the South Midlands Branch in the Chapter Room of St Mary’s Cathedral, Kilkenny will reflect a wide range of interpretations of themes, colours, techniques, fibres and fabric.
We will be displaying quilted items, large and small quilts made using different techniques, both traditional and modern.
Daily demonstrations of patchwork and quilting by South Midlands Branch members will also be taking place!
