Carrickmacross Lace is a beautiful, applique lace which has adorned brides veils and wedding dresses, christening gowns, handkerchiefs, collars and cuffs both here in Ireland and among Royal Families throughout Europe. In recent years both Kate Middleton and the late Princess Diana chose Carrickmacross Lace to embellish their wedding dresses, which was expertly sewn by The Royal School of Needlework in London.
This workshop gives you the opportunity to learn the techniques used in making Carrickmacross Lace. To create your own unique lace framed butterfly piece.
