Smoke fired incense pots
Step into the Bronze Age to decorate and smoke a North Coast ceramic incense pot with artist Patricia Millar.
Join this workshop to decorate 2 incense pots.
Make your own ochre paint. Using your ochre and paper resists, decorate your own pots inspired by local Bronze Age designs. Fix your designs by using a blow torch and sawdust.
This is a 2-3 hour experience.
All materials, two 7cm x 10cm approx. ceramic pots, refreshments and tray bakes are included.
No experience needed but for the potter, a great introduction into smoke firing ceramics.
