WOODTURNING WORKSHOP
Learn how to turn Wooden Bowls on a Foot powered Lathe. A traditional craft using one of the most ancient technologies and simple made machines and tools. We will be aiming to make a general use bowl from locally sourced wood.
Starting from a prepared wood blank, each participant will form the wood into a bowl through the day. Working together to spark the deep craft and love of learning that is in us all.

Facilitator Dee Synnott has been carving with greenwood for over 15 years, before that working in several arts and crafts areas.
