August Craft Month - Funding for a Guild, Association, Network, or Society (GANS)

We are delighted to announce the following funding opportunity to support GANS events for August Craft Month. This initiative is available to the member organisations of Design & Crafts Council Ireland: Guilds, Associations, Networks and Societies (GANS).

We would like to offer up to €500 to each interested GANS, towards supporting events for August Craft Month 2026!

Suggestions of the type of August Craft Month activities include the following:

– Holding a GANS members exhibition
– Demonstrations
– Workshops
– Fun activities
– Fund a GANS member to host their own events, with materials.

We are looking forward to having each GANS involved with August Craft Month and we eagerly anticipate your application. 

 

Deadline for GANS Funding application form is Sunday 31st May.

You must meet the 2026 FUNDING CRITERIA

You must agree to the 2026 TERMS AND CONDITIONS

If successful, please make sure to upload your event by Sunday 7th June.

Please keep your description concise. If your event is approved/selected for funding you will be required to list your event through our registration process in more detail.
Please include a full breakdown of expenses.

Waiver

If an organisation does not use monies received from DCCI for the declared purpose as set out in the ACM application, DCCI reserves the right to seek a refund of the full funding contribution. Any organisation that does not comply with the terms of the award may be ineligible for future DCCI schemes and services and may be removed from DCCI’s register of Membership.
