Bookbinding Workshop at Titanic Hotel Belfast
Join Anita, the owner of PAPERCROWN NI for some ‘mindful making’ where she will teach you how to make your very own hardback notebook, covered in authentic Irish linen, complete with a grosgrain ribbon page marker and illustrated end papers of Titanic or the iconic Harland & Wolff cranes.
Anita will talk you through the entire bookbinding process, from binding your pages using waxed linen thread, attaching the Irish linen bookcloth to greyboard and all the necessary steps in between, to produce a stunning, handcrafted notebook that pays tribute to our linen manufacturing AND shipbuilding heritage.
This is a bookbinding workshop not to be missed!
This hands-on workshop is perfect for beginners or for those wishing to refresh their bookbinding skills. It’s also an amazing opportunity for Titanic enthusiasts to create their own hardback book using premium, heritage materials within the surroundings of a significant building in terms of maritime history.
