Afternoon Tea and Framed Copper Picture
Join us for our delicious traditional home baked afternoon tea and then create your own stunning framed copper art picture.
These unique pictures are perfect as gifts for life’s special occasions so make a piece for your family or friend or treat yourself to a piece to hang on your own wall. This workshop does not require any previous experience and is suited to all ages.
We have carefully selected the most suitable copper and tools and will guide you as you learn how to work with copper and explore its possibilities. On the day you get to choose from our selection of templates for your piece or can create your own. When you have your artwork finished it will be framed in a beautiful 11 x 11 inch Irish made solid wood frame ready to display or gift. Price includes refreshments, materials and a handmade wood frame.
About Crafts of Ireland
Crafts of Ireland is a heritage craft studio set on a family farm and located on the scenic Cavan and Meath border, close to the Loughcrew Hills. In their field they have a small flock of native, rare breed Roscommon Sheep, the oldest recognise sheep breed in Ireland and in their garden they grow a small patch of Flax to produce linen thread, a craft that was practiced in this area over 200 yrs ago. Visitors can experience home baking and a selection of traditional craft workshops.
