Slip Casting Workshop with Rachel Leary Ceramics
Join Rachel Leary for a morning of slip casting on Saturday 1st August, 10am-1pm.
Rachel will guide you through designing, casting and decorating 2 of your own porcelain vases. First, you will learn about the slip casting process, then pour porcelain into the moulds provided to make your vases. You will have a chance to sketch your designs as you wait for the vases to firm up. When they are out of the moulds, you can then decorate with underglazes and try out some engraving techniques too!
