An Introduction to Circular Weaving with Ann Mechelinck
Join artist Ann Mechelinck for a creative and relaxing workshop at Greywood Arts, Killeagh, Co. Cork. P36 KN61.
Thurs 6th Aug 10.30-3.30pm (with lunchbreak)
Participants will learn to warp a circular loom and learn the basic weaving stitches (like plain weave and Soumak) using a variety of textured yarns to create a decorative wall-hanging. Materials are provided but participants are encouraged to bring their own yarns too. Each participant will receive a print-out with useful stitches.
