An Exhibition of works to celebrate the memory of Fiona Higgins, Batik Artist
Donegal Designer Makers are dedicating their 2026 exhibition to the late Fiona Higgins, Batik artist, who passed away in December 2025. Fiona was an immensely talented artist, and her passing leaves a huge gap in the lives of those who knew and loved her.
As a child, Fiona spent her holidays on the west coast of Donegal, an area of beautiful scenery, which inspired her art, landscapes, seascapes, beaches, skies and trees. Her work was ethereal, detailed and colourful.
